Automatic Dispersal of Gold Drops Among Party
I know this has probably been brought up before, but after searching several key words I could not locate it.
But I find it rather pathetic actually that although gold drops when picked up are evenly distributed amongst party members that Arena hasn't yet seen fit to Automatically Distribute the Gold Drops amongst the party members. Therefore saving us players a lot of time doing something that should be automatic (just as Experience Points are distributed amongst party members{including Henchmen} Automatically) Of course any "Adventurer(s)" would stop and pick up currency seeing as currency doesn't add to encumberance, Items that add to Encumberance(Storage space) I can see being " left behind ". But Gold(Currency) would never be "left behind" by any " Adventurer(s)"
So my Gameplay Suggestion to Arena is: Please just make Gold Drops distributed amongst the party automatically instead of making us have to manually stop and pick it up. My humble opinion is if "I" have to stop and "Physically" pick it up then the Gold should be "MINE" and not shared with the party, especially Henchmen. I'm all for the party sharing the Gold but firmly believe it should be an Automatic system( I mean why can't the Henchmen pick it up too, why must it always be me{When traveling with just Hench}).
This Suggestion is basically to save time as I have noticed how much time we have spent picking up Gold.

hmmm, I don't recall my OP calling it "Chump Change". And it's actually not about laziness it's more in the desire to expedite the gameplay process so "we" can go about adventuring (enjoying the game) just a little bit faster.
Obviously you wasn't taught "If ya don't have anything nice to say , keep ya trap shut."

Though, If bring up something worthy of being called lazy, you should accept the fact that people are gonna call you lazy!
Dude, that is pretty lazy, if you dont have time to pick it up, then you dont deserve the gold.
(Wallet warping, now thated be nice. No more pick-pockets, now theyll just have to have telekinesis and poof, all your moneys gone!)

What about dead party members? When I'm running with guildies we make a point of waiting for anyone who is down to be rezzed before picking up gold, so they get their fair share.
Otherwise I like the idea. I hate holding alt and looking back to see a pile of gold left behind and having to backtrack to get it. I'm the kind of packrat player who picks up everything.

I sort of agree on this one. Should be possible that Henchmen pich up cash too. But should they then also pick up items? You'd be pretty anoyed if Stefan pick up that nice green item that you were looking for in the first place right?

Uhh, Henchies DO get Green Items... you just can't see them.
I think that's the point of the OP:
If items are automatically distributed to Henchies, then why isn't Gold?
I suppose the reason being that it's nice to see how much Gold is dropping, although it is annoying running around and picking it up.
Idea: Like XP, a Gold amount flashes whenever gold is dropped.
I like anything that saves Mouse clicks....

henchies get their share but it is done behind your back so you dont see the henchie get that fellblade and 2 blobs of ecto while you got glittering dust.
they thought it would make people mad.

I've seen some pretty valid complaints filed about glaringly obvious problems or oversights before.
Pity this isn't one of those times.

Um, this isn't a "complaint" it's a legitimate "gameplay suggestion" that I am finding many more people in favor for than against.

OH WOW ! way to cover your butt Loviatar, BTW the idea doesn't stink seeing as in this and other forums more people are for the idea than against.

YES!! Mordakai gets it, Thank You.
Constructive Criticism and improvements on an idea are always welcome, people bashing an idea because " they don't like it for no apparent reason other than to not like it" will be rebutted.

Being lazy is letting the rest of the party pick up all the gold.

you actually think taking into account two possible options is *covering my butt* when you didnt specify how much you valued the gold?
if i only assumed one possibility you would probably have said sloppy thinking (and been right)
it is still very lazy.
why not have everything including items auto pickup same as Dungeon Seige with one click?
maybe auto salvage the least valuable items to make room perhaps?

I've tried that recently. Funny enough, no one else bothered to pick it up either, so I ended up doubling back, cause dang it, I want it if no one else does.

Yes Loviatar, taking into account the only 2 possible options it being /or not being "Chump Change" IS covering your butt.
As to why not making everything auto pickup, I answered that in my OP. Because Items are an encumberance issue and are assigned to certain players whereas Gold is shared amongst the entire party no matter who picks it up.
And honestly laziness has very little to do with the subject, it's more inconvienced, others get it why is the concept so difficult for you to understand?
And please if ya gonna post stay ON TOPIC, you started drifting there with talk about auto salvage. FYI many other people would like to see a single button/key to pick up all items in an area. I did not mention this in my OP, because that wasn't what I was "suggesting".
If you actually have a "VALID" reason for not wanting the suggestion implemented in game , by all means say so.( You haven't as of yet.) " I don't like it" is not a VALID reason. If not STFU. Thank you.

Just pick the crap up and get on with it. You don't see pennies and nickels jumping into your pocket when you walk down the sidewalk. Stop being so lazy and just click. Are you afraid to battle those last two bosses hovering over your drop, or what? Sheesh.....
